HOPLER FAMILY 2009 D.R. TRIP

For the first time the entire Hopler family; Bruce, Terri, Caleb and Levi; are going to spend a week together doing social justice serving in a squatter’s town of Bani. We will be joining a group of women from our church, Cornerstone Community, to lead creative teaching workshops to new teachers in a brand new school that will be opening Fall 2009. While there we will also be working with the women and children in one of the poorest regions of this country. This will also include painting and fixing up the classroom they will be holding school. For our entire family to serve it will cost $6000 (which will cover travel, food, and hotel fees. It will also help pay for supplies, the guide, and the interpreter during our visit.)
